Recap of: The 11th Annual Bear Hollow Open in Ava Missouri

It was a cold mid-thirties day that brought us light rain, breezy skies, and multiple Ace Hits to make for a fun day in Ava!

A big thank you to our tournament sponsors Jeff Ford of Patriots Gold & Silver and Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home for all your support in making this event possible.

A special thank you to Nick Helm and all of his efforts for this event. We will know more from Nick by the end of next week about how much we were able to raise and contribute to the Heart of the Hills Food Pantry! Also, a special thank you to Trevor Williams for the awesome trophies he made!

I also want to thank my team, both on site and off for making it all happen. Kyle, Dasun, Jonathan, and Ian were all present taking care of all the logistics on site. Kevin and the dynamic duo, Justin & Ashley, worked behind the scenes doing what they do. I’m overly blessed and thankful for my team who helps keep things going!

There were 51 players that came out to compete in this tournament, and 12 divisions were represented.

Hottest Round of the day went to Dasun Keylor of MP40 who shot a 997 in Round 2 of the day!

In the FPO, FA1, and FA40:
Mary Abbott, Esmerelda Dodson, and Julie Crouch showed fierce competition by ending the day within one stroke of each other! Congratulations on your wins!

In MA60:
Gary Locke and Randy Richardson had to playoff to determine the winner. After 6 holes, Randy took the win after making his birdie putt on the same hole he aced earlier! Congratulations Randy!

Congratulations to all players who cashed in the tournament!

There were 4 Ace Hits during the tournament! Congratulations to Michael Johnson (Hole 17) and Randy Richardson (Hole 6) for their Ace Pot wins!

Shout out to the Ace Hits of Benjamin Lemon (Hole 13) and Clinton Carson (Hole 9)! Unfortunately, they were not part of the Ace Pot, but still deserve a congratulations!

Congratulations to the big raffle winner Ben Hamilton who won the basket!
