The 1st Olde Glory Days Open Players Meeting - Jun 21st, 2023
The 1st Olde Glory Days Open
Welcome to the 1st Olde Glory Days Open! As always, we’d like to start off by thanking our tournament sponsor:
Tournament Sponsor: Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce (David, Joyce & Mark of the Chamber are incredible). These three have welcomed the sport and have funded this event. We are hoping for a good turn out for this first event in Clinton!
I’d like to give a shout out to Kendall at Prodigy for the sweet discs that each player will get two of!
Huge thanks to our Tour sponsors: Patriots Gold & Silver, Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Innova Champion Discs, Dynamic Discs, Fossa Disc Golf, Prodigy Discs, Creator Designs, MVP/Axiom Discs, Millennium Golf Discs, Discmania, 8Up, Greazy Dyes, Discs Unlimited, Swing Right Golf, and Intuitive Body Works & Massage.
Everyone needs to check in at the trailer. Round 1 tees off at 10. Scores for the tournament should be kept on the PDGA website, but we can have paper scorecards available if necessary. Player course and hole assignments will be posted Friday evening at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/70758 (https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/70758). The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/ (https://pdga.com/score/). The access code is glory. Please have at least two people record the card scores to pdga.com. This will help reduce the possibility of errors. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, everyone is on their own for lunch. Round 2 should start at 2, but will be based on receiving the last card after round 1. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com.
There will be a raffle and you can purchase tickets throughout the day. The drawing will be at then of the event. The big ticket item will be a Monkey Trap (you will have two to choose from) so come ready to take it home! Don't forget all amateur players that cash must use their voucher the day of or make special arrangements with me before you leave. Good luck and have fun!
Rules for the courses are listed below. Unbranded CTP is hole 2. MVP-only CTP is hole 8. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 12. Prodigy-only CTP is hole 18.
